MsOffice & the European Computing Driving LicenceThe key method of delivering Microsoft Office training is through the European Computing Driving Licence. The syllabus is here. The project has also produced some top 'up-sessions' for Access databases and Excel spreadsheets which can be viewed via the links on the left of the page. The European Computer Driving License is a new training standard being adopted by the NHS. Information on course content and how the NHS plans to deliver training nationally can be seen here www.ecdl.nhs.uk Information below shows what's available to employees in Oxfordshire's PCTs. (Note: almost all trainees have employment contracts with Oxford City PCT). This training can be delivered on line - with the exception of the induction and the tests. People who don't know their way round Microsoft Windows very well are encouraged to go on pre-course training sessions. If you want to apply for the pre-course training or the ECDL training please fill in the forms - see buttons on left of page. The NHS is trying to set up 'learning contracts' to ensure people get the time to follow through the training (100 hours for the full ECDL training). Approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians for CPD. Physicians can claim 40 external CPD credits Getting Started with
